About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SEO Specialist to join our team at Get Laid Beds. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for enhancing our online presence through effective SEO strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • SEO Strategy Development: Conduct keyword research, optimize website content, and develop off-page SEO strategies to improve search rankings and increase brand visibility.
  • SEO Tool Management: Manage SEO tools, expenses, and external partners to drive organic traffic globally.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze website performance using SEO tools and report on key metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay updated with SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure our online presence remains competitive.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team and agencies to integrate SEO best practices and drive a SEO-focused culture.
Essential Skills
  • SEO Experience: 23 years of experience in a SEO-related role.
  • SEO Tool Proficiency: Proficiency with SEO tools.
  • Search Algorithm Understanding: Strong understanding of search algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Technical Skills: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge.
  • CMS Experience: Experience with CMS; we use Statamic and Opencart.
  • Social Media Understanding: Understanding of social media strategies and UX/UI principles.

Salary and Benefits
  • Working Hours: 35 hours a week, 9am-5pm, 28 days holiday (rising with tenure).
