About the Role:

This is a 6-month fixed term contract opportunity to work as a Commercial People Advisor at Marks and Spencer. In this role, you will be coaching and supporting line managers and Business Involvement Group (BIG) Representatives across all areas of the business to make informed people decisions through a commercial lens.

As a key member of our Line Manager Advisory Service, you will work alongside line managers and People Partners to support a high-performance culture. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality, consistent, and accurate advice on all aspects of people policy in line with the service SLA.

You will maintain personal expert knowledge of M&S employment policy and practice, and coach and develop line managers to deliver effective people management and drive line management capability.

Key responsibilities include providing end-to-end case management support for the full scope of cases and policy areas, including complex and high-risk cases. This includes detailed knowledge of M&S employment policies, frameworks, and practice, as well as up-to-date awareness of external case trends and employee relations best practice.

Requirements:

Benefits:

Marks and Spencer offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including a generous pension scheme and annual leave entitlement.
