As a key member of the Owen Daniels Consultancy team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing learning and development programs that drive business success. With a strong background in GAP analysis and apprenticeship programs, you will collaborate with various departments to assess training needs, develop curricula, and ensure employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve organizational objectives.

This role involves working closely with department heads and other key stakeholders to identify skill gaps and development opportunities. You will utilize surveys, interviews, and performance data to determine training requirements, and design and develop comprehensive L&D programs, including onboarding, technical training, leadership development, and soft skills enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
  2. Utilize surveys, interviews, and performance data to determine training requirements.
  3. Design and develop comprehensive L&D programs, including onboarding, technical training, leadership development, and soft skills enhancement.
  4. Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually.
  5. Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve L&D initiatives.
  6. Support succession planning and talent development initiatives by identifying high-potential employees and creating personalized development plans.
  7. Manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal use of resources.

Key Skills:

  1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in learning and development, with a proven track record in designing and delivering successful training programs.
  2. Experience in GAP analysis is essential.
  3. Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with diverse teams.
  4. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  5. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and improve training effectiveness.
