Strategic Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Manager to join our team at Sunbelt Rentals Careers. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and achieving exceptional results.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leadership and People Management: Develop and lead high-performing teams to achieve strategic objectives and deliver exceptional results.
- Commercial Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement commercial strategies that maximise revenue and profit.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, and provide financial and managerial reporting to stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure that Sunbelt Rentals facilities function to the highest possible standard, and work with the Asset and Engineering teams to optimise the asset cycle.
- Strategic Implementation: Work with the Operational leadership and wider team to implement the Sunbelt Rentals strategy and deliver continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to inspire and empower others, and drive performance through people.
- Commercial and Financial Skills: Strong commercial and financial skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
- Logistical and Operational Skills: Experience of working in a multi-product environment, with strong logistical and operational skills.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
