Scheme Operations Manager

The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Scheme Manager to join our team at Midland Heart. As a Scheme Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of one of our thriving retirement schemes, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional housing management service.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage a team of staff to provide a high-quality housing management service, including addressing repairs, grounds maintenance, and environmental contracts.
- Ensure the scheme is safe for customers by conducting regular compliance checks, including health & safety, building safety, and fire safety.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with our customers, engaging with them regularly to understand their needs and deliver key messages.
As a Scheme Manager at Midland Heart, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our customers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and can adapt their communication style to engage a variety of tenants.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience of working in a customer-facing role, preferably in a housing or property management setting.
- Experience of applying building safety practices, such as health & safety, building safety, and fire safety checks.
- The ability to manage their time and workload effectively, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers and internal and external stakeholders.
