Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Operations Coordinator to join our team at Sims Limited. As an integral part of the National Ferrous and Non Ferrous Trading Team, Factory Contracts, and Business Development Team, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of commercial administration.

The successful candidate will work in Smethwick, under the supervision of a knowledgeable and supportive Service Delivery Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing accurate and timely customer reports
  • Preparing and distributing customer price schedules and updating prices on the Navision system
  • Creating contracts on the Navision system
  • Investigating and resolving internal queries
  • Liaising with the Transport Department & Weighbridge personnel
  • Supporting the Commercial Ferrous, Non Ferrous, & Factory Contracts Team
  • Dealing with administrative customer queries
  • Routing website queries, and incoming calls to the appropriate contact
  • Making courtesy calls to existing suppliers, and providing feedback to Senior Managers
  • Managing Inter Company prices
  • Dealing with Head Office accounts/administration requests
  • Assisting with Reception cover, as required
