Financial Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts and Administration Professional to join our team at Hosie Electrical Contracting Limited. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in administration and accounting roles. They should be proficient in Sage 50 and payroll systems, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
This role will involve various administrative tasks, including:
- Managing bank accounts and processing payments;
- Reconciling bank statements and ensuring accuracy;
- Preparing and depositing banking to the bank;
- Processing wages and payroll on a rotational basis;
- Administering financial year-end and payroll year-end processes;
- Inputting timesheets and invoices into sales orders and costing;
- Following up on late payments and issuing statements on overdue accounts;
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be responsible for administering the Aberdeenshire council contract works alongside the current team, managing day-to-day invoicing operations as required.
To be considered for this role, you should have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
A competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this position, along with a company pension and healthcare package.
