Advanced Practitioner in Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our team in Warrington and Halton. As a key member of the Intensive Support Function, you will be responsible for developing, initiating, leading and managing clinical assessment, formulation and interventions, staff training and special projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the established Community Learning Disability Team, Clinical Team Managers and associated specialists. You will provide expert clinical practice to clients who pose significant challenges/risk to themselves or others, including those with mental health issues, complex communication needs, profound and multiple disabilities, long-term conditions and forensic behaviour.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with clients with learning disabilities/mental health issues, postgraduate qualification, and evidence of post-basic education to degree level or equivalent. They will also have management and supervision skills, effective team working, complaint management, change management, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
We offer a competitive salary of £46,148-£52,809 per annum, depending on experience. The role involves working 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility on working hours outside core service hours.
