Learning Disabilities Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Advanced Practitioner within our Learning Disability Community Team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical strategies to support individuals with complex needs, including those with mental health issues, complex communication needs, and forensic behaviours.
You will work closely with the Community Learning Disability Team, Clinical Team Managers, and associated specialists to provide expert clinical practice and lead on staff training and special projects. The successful candidate will have experience of working with clients with learning disabilities/mental health issues and hold postgraduate qualifications or equivalent level of training through experience.
The salary for this position is £46,148 - £52,809 per annum, depending on experience, and is based on the National Health Service (NHS) Agenda for Change pay scales.
