About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Learning Disability Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Lead Clinical Practitioner for Intensive Support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with clients with learning disabilities and experience of providing expert clinical practice to clients with complex challenging behavior and/or forensic behaviors.

The role involves developing, initiating, leading, and managing clinical assessment, formulation, and interventions, staff training, and special projects consistent with the aims of the Trust, service plan, and service operational policy.

The successful applicant will work closely with the established Community Learning Disability Team to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

This post is subject to an enhanced check with adults barred list Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for working with clients with complex challenging behavior and/or forensic behaviors
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Community Learning Disability Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
