About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Branch Manager to join our dynamic team at Howden Consumer & Local Commercial. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who wants to develop their leadership skills and contribute to our continued growth and success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the branch, developing and coaching team members to realise their full potential, and driving business growth through strategic planning and implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Support the management of the branch, including day-to-day operations, staff management, and customer service delivery
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners to promote collaboration and achieve business objectives
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance
  • Analyse data and make evidence-based decisions to inform business strategy and improve outcomes
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing teams and driving business growth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive business outcomes
  • Proven track record of delivering results, with a focus on customer satisfaction and employee engagement
  • Commercial acumen, with experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and financial planning
