About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Neonatal Nurse Specialist. As a key member of our Neonatal Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to newborns and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and identify nursing problems and needs in partnership with families and caregivers.
  • Recognize and respond to vulnerable children in accordance with Trust policy, seeking support from senior staff as needed.
  • Attend deliveries and safely transport and admit infants to the Neonatal Unit.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Neonatal Unit within the last 2 years.
  • Current NMC registration and compliance with current nursing practices.
