About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Neonatal Nurse Specialist. As a key member of our Neonatal Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage the care of newborns with complex medical needs, including those requiring life-sustaining interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide education and support to families, promoting empowerment and self-care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance.

Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Neonatal Unit within the last 2 years.
- Current registration with the NMC and a valid Statement of NMC Registration.
- A Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
