About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Registered Nurse - Neonatal at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to newborns and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and identify nursing problems and needs in partnership with families and carers.
- Recognize and respond to vulnerable children in accordance with Trust policy, seeking support from senior staff as needed.
- Attend deliveries and safely transport and admit infants to the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU).
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Neonatal Unit within the last 2 years.
- Compliance with NMC Professional Registration and current nursing practices.
