Job Description

Your role:

We are seeking an experienced communications professional to join our team at the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, where you will play a key role in the delivery of digital projects.

The successful candidate will have a passion for technology and data, and experience of working with communities to ensure that their lived experiences shape project delivery.

The Communications and Engagement Lead Officer (Digital) will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communications strategies to engage with stakeholders and promote the work of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing communications plans to engage with stakeholders and promote the work of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority
  • Working with communities to ensure that their lived experiences shape project delivery
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective communications strategies
  • Providing guidance and support to colleagues on communications best practices

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced communications professional who is passionate about technology and data, and has a proven track record of delivering effective communications campaigns.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
