About the Role

The Communications and Engagement Lead Officer (Digital) is a new role that offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications professional to contribute to the delivery of digital projects in Greater Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate resident and wider stakeholder engagement across project partners
  • Develop the narrative for the project in the context of the wider Greater Manchester Digital Blueprint priority
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-profile GMCA ambitions
  • Work with a diverse range of stakeholders to develop and lead on communications and engagement projects
  • Build relationships and collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals

About You:

  • Experience of developing and leading on communications and engagement projects
  • Ability to work in a project environment across organisational boundaries
  • Natural collaborator with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Effective team player with the energy to have an impact and the sensitivity to do so constructively
