The Communications and Engagement Lead Officer (Digital) is a new role that offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications professional to contribute to the delivery of digital projects in Greater Manchester.
This is an outward-facing, dynamic, and fast-paced role that will contribute to the delivery of high-profile GMCA ambitions. The role holder will have experience of developing and leading on communications and engagement projects, working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate resident and wider stakeholder engagement across project partners.
- Develop the narrative for the project in the context of the wider Greater Manchester Digital Blueprint priority.
- Contribute to the delivery of high-profile GMCA ambitions.
- Work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including community groups, businesses, and public sector organizations.
- Develop and implement effective communications and engagement strategies.
About You:
- You will have experience of developing and leading on communications and engagement projects.
- You will be comfortable working in a project environment across organizational boundaries.
- You will be a natural collaborator, adept at building relationships.
- You will be an effective team player with the energy to have an impact and the sensitivity to do so constructively.
