Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Support Professional to provide essential support to a Year 5 pupil with special educational needs. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the pupil's academic experience, promoting social and emotional growth, and developing their independence and confidence.

About the Position:
This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work closely with a class teacher and SENCo to implement the pupil's Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP). You will adapt resources to meet the pupil's unique learning needs, develop and maintain a calm and inclusive learning environment, and foster a supportive relationship with the pupil, parents, and external professionals. Your duties will also include monitoring and reporting on progress, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to address these needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-to-one support to enhance the pupil's academic experience.
  • Assisting in the implementation of the pupil's EHCP.
  • Developing and adapting resources to cater to the pupil's individual learning needs.
  • Fostering a calm and supportive learning environment to promote independence and confidence.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to monitor and report on progress.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with primary-aged children, particularly those with special educational needs. They should possess a calm, patient, and empathetic approach, excellent communication and organisational skills, and relevant qualifications. A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and well-being is essential.

Salary and Benefits:
