About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping the pupil access the curriculum and engage in their education. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement the pupil's Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP), adapting resources to meet their unique learning needs. Your duties will also include developing and maintaining a calm and inclusive learning environment, fostering independence and confidence in the pupil.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing tailored support to the pupil, ensuring they access the curriculum and engage in their learning.
  • Collaborating with teachers and external professionals to monitor and report on progress.
  • Developing and adapting resources to cater to the pupil's individual learning needs.
  • Fostering a calm and supportive learning environment to promote independence and confidence.

Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant with a proven track record of working with primary-aged children, particularly those with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will possess a calm, patient, and empathetic approach, excellent communication and organisational skills, and relevant qualifications. A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and well-being is essential.

Salary and Benefits:
