Job Description

This role is an excellent opportunity to excel as a sales professional in the UK market. As a Key Account Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for achieving or exceeding agreed sales targets for the sale of racking and storage equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Pursue opportunities from existing major/key accounts - working in teamwork with Territory Sales colleagues where appropriate.
  • D delivery of strategy, development and activity plans that target 'realistic' major accounts within assigned distribution areas.
  • Excellent market awareness and ensure the company is presented to all target accounts and included on all proposal / tender lists.
  • To work proactively with Major Accounts, Telesales and Short Term Rental teams to circulate opportunities.
  • To promote and deliver a continually improving customer experience.
  • Support and contribute to team based activities aimed at improving overall sales and business performance.
  • Interacting with all customers and colleagues in a manner consistent with the company's culture and values.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • You will need to possess a high level of market awareness, ensuring the company is represented effectively.
  • A strong understanding of the sales process, with the ability to construct quality proposals and quotations.
  • Excellent administration skills, with the ability to manage sales support activity efficiently.

Working Conditions:

This role offers a competitive salary of £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

You will be required to travel throughout the UK, with regular overnight stays.
