Mental Health Support in a Primary School Setting

Academics are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Assistant to join their team at a school in Windsor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting children with mental health needs, particularly those with SEMH and ASD/ADHD.

As a Mental Health Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with complex needs.

The role may involve:

  • Supporting students' behaviour in the classroom.
  • Assisting students with understanding teacher instructions.
  • Working one-to-one or in small groups with students in the Learning Support department.
  • Monitoring and recording student progress.
