The York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a highly motivated Lung Cancer Clinical Lead to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with experience in oncology to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of safe and effective care to patients.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of working autonomously within their scope of practice and will be able to utilise their skills and knowledge to support the team in delivering high-quality patient care. They will also be responsible for acting as a main point of contact for patients, carers, and the wider healthcare team, providing comprehensive support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead and manage the lung cancer service, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and treatment.
  • To develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of care provided to patients.
  • To collaborate and communicate with the wider healthcare team to ensure the provision of appropriate services to maximise the health and quality of life of patients.

Salary: £55,720 - £85,760 per annum (dependent on experience)
