Exciting Opportunity for a Dynamic Senior Psychologist

Tewv Brits, a leading provider of health services, is seeking an experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Community Learning Disability Team. As a member of our multidisciplinary team based at Eastfield Clinic, Scarborough, you will play a vital role in delivering specialist health services to adults with learning disabilities and their families.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in working within Learning Disability services, demonstrating patient-centred values and a commitment to delivering excellent healthcare and evidence-based practice. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work collaboratively with statutory agencies and care providers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Offer neuropsychological assessments to service users, alongside reflective practice, consultation, and supervision.
  • Work closely with trainee placements and university teaching opportunities.
  • Promote peer support, supervision, CPD, training, research, and audit within the wider trust and psychological professions network.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of £83,000 - £112,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and flexible working arrangements.

Requirements:
  • Postgraduate training (doctoral level equivalent) in clinical/counselling/forensic psychology (or its equivalent prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS.
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice.
