Biomedical Scientist Specialist

As a Biomedical Scientist Specialist at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be part of a dynamic team working together to provide high-quality analytical, advisory, and interpretive services to clinicians in the specialty of Haematology, Immunology, and Blood Transfusion.
Key responsibilities include ensuring departmental quality standards are maintained through adherence to standard operating procedures, implementation of quality control programs, and instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting.
You will participate in the Departmental Out-of-Hours shift and on-call services as an autonomous practitioner, contributing to the maintenance of quality standards by actively participating in all relevant quality activities.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience of working collaboratively as part of a laboratory team and will possess exceptional organizational skills. Following suitable training, you will be required to participate in our 24/7 shift service.
