About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Operations to join our team at The Bamford Collection. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth and success of our holistic wellness destination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support with opening and closing The Club, acting as duty manager, and ensuring a safe workplace is maintained.
  • Take ownership of Health & Safety requirements and maintain digital compliance.
  • Work alongside the General Manager and Department Heads to contribute to the ongoing strategy for The Club.
  • Arrange regular 1-1's with department managers and attend fortnightly Heads meetings with the MD.
Commerciality
  • Work with the GM, Department Heads, and Team Managers to deliver achievable sales and EBITDA budgets for The Club.
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting and contribute to annual budgeting.
  • Review rota efficiency via payroll system and deliver target wage costs.
Managing People
  • Lead and manage a motivated and high-performing team, in line with company culture and values.
  • Deliver objectives, continuously improve your role, and own your personal development.
  • Recruit the best people for the right job role, develop, train, and coach your teams.
Customer Engagement and Service
  • Coach all teams to deliver exceptional product and service.
  • Resolve all complaints/queries to a high standard of member satisfaction and escalate any unresolved issues to the General Manager.
Stock Management
  • Manage and support the FOH Manager with stock accuracy and ensure compliant stock management processes are in place.
Requirements
  • Clear communicator with the team and uses initiative to continually inspire and motivate them.
  • Can support, coach, guide, delegate, and give feedback to the team to drive performance and engagement.
