Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to provide support across all people-related activities for KBR's nuclear project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day HR operations and driving HR programs forward to make KBR a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the HR agenda and people strategies to build a strong Employee Value Proposition
  • Provide day-to-day support on people issues raised by managers and employees, advising on company policy/procedure
  • Support line managers on the informal resolution of issues as well as advising and supporting formal disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and performance management issues
  • Provide guidance and training to improve manager capabilities
  • Work with the HR team to spot areas for improvement within the project in order to drive positive change
  • Support managers and capability leads with talent calibration and succession planning
  • Create new and better ways of working, drive improvements and initiatives
  • Uphold and maintain the brand, image and professionalism of the HR team
  • Keep up to date with legislative changes impacting the business and HR profession

Requirements

Additional Information

This HR Generalist position will be based in our clients' office in Whitehaven, West Cumbria. To fully immerse yourself in this project, develop great relationships and ultimately excel in the role, we would like the successful candidate to be present in the office at least 2 days per week.

As the HR team support multiple sites, there will also be a requirement for you to travel to client offices in Warrington on an ad-hoc basis.
