We are a leading Recruitment Agency, Riverside Recruitment, seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Carlisle. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a pivotal role in managing labor and training within a large manufacturing site.

About the Role

  • As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the site has the right labor to meet customer demand and budgeted volumes.
  • You will implement processes for reviewing labor establishment, manage overtime spend versus agreed budget, and provide daily and weekly labor reconciliation.
  • You will also develop a Labor Management system and process, support training plans to mitigate skills issues, and deliver ongoing training plans to meet budgeted volumes.
  • Another key responsibility will be to produce a process plan that minimizes overtime and mitigates idle time.
  • You will manage the relationship with agency providers, agree holiday group sizes and communications, and manage 3 direct reports, coaching and providing development opportunities within your team.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of engaging with key stakeholders at all levels and highly analytical skills.
  • Business/Commercial awareness and understanding of business drivers and factors that impact related KPIs.
  • Experience in a FMCG company or Recruitment Agency background with experience of recruiting within the manufacturing sector is desirable.
