Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Supervising Social Worker to join our Fostering Support Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of foster carers and looked-after children. The successful candidate will have a passion for children and young people, excellent organisational skills, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide support and guidance to foster carers and looked-after children through regular visits, assessments, and review meetings* Develop and deliver training for foster carers on various topics, including systemic approaches to working with domestic violence and adolescents* Collaborate with other teams to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting foster carers and looked-after children* Present to the Fostering Panel on foster carer reviews and progress* Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field* Significant experience working with foster care or similar services* Excellent organisational skills, meeting deadlines, and analytical abilities* Effective communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to produce detailed written reports* Knowledge of systemic approaches to working with families and communities* Experience working with adolescents and domestic violence is desirable
