Children's Residential Deputy Manager Opportunity

Meditemp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our client's children's residential home in Hornchurch.
The successful candidate will provide leadership and management of the home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for young people with Emotional Behavioural Disorder.
Key Responsibilities:
- To support the home manager in undertaking key responsibilities or take on management duties in their absence
- Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance, and company policy
- Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of residents
- Manage quality services aiming for a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating
- Provide a therapeutic environment promoting recovery from traumatic experiences
- Collaborate with the wider management team to contribute to planning and development
Requirements:
- Experience in children's residential care
- NVQ Level 3 Residential Childcare or equivalent
- Driving Licence essential
- Salary: £35,000 per year (dependent on experience)
