Lead Advanced Product Sales Strategist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled sales leader to join our team at Raytheon Technologies as the Head of Advanced Product Sales. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a small team to maximize sales growth and revenue in the Advanced Products area.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve demanding growth targets and win new business.
- Coordinate and execute a prioritized plan of action and milestones to close pursuits and meet sales targets.
- Work with business development leads to ensure excellence in business capture, pipeline development, and proposal writing.
- Liaise and coordinate with relevant business teams to pursue and capture international opportunities.
- Manage the Advanced Products sales functional and business development budgets.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to plan, develop, and execute capture strategies for customers.
- Coordinate and manage program-associated new business initiatives, capture and proposal gate reviews, and pipeline reviews.
- Ownership of the Advanced Products business strategy and generation of a product and service development and marketing plan.
- Leadership and line management of the sales team, maintaining a positive team dynamic and culture.
- Contributing to meeting the wider business and communication strategies as a senior leader.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a business development/strategic role within the Advanced Products area.
- Creative, energetic, and entrepreneurial approach.
- Commercial awareness, including intuitive risk and opportunity assessment.
- Role model for leadership behaviors.
- Strong communicator at all levels, including board.
- Experience of winning new business as an individual.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting business capture and/or sales targets as a business capture or sales leader.
- Proven ability to develop market strategies that create opportunities.
- Clear understanding of the majority of relevant UK and international markets.
- Holder of relevant security clearances (if not held, must be prepared to apply).

- Experience in product/system/service integration.
- Experience of leading and developing a successful team.
- Strong relationships with relevant UK and international customers.
- Interest in, and understanding of, UK and international defense, security, and aerospace issues.
- Experience and/or understanding of different commercial models for the provision of products and/or services.
