Overview of the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Victim Support's National Contact Centre team in Cardiff as a Crime Services Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs.

As a Caseworker, you will undertake risk and needs assessments, maintain accurate case records, and provide advocacy to enable service users to navigate the criminal justice process. You will also develop effective working relationships and promote effective communication between staff and stakeholders.

If you are passionate about delivering high-quality services and have experience in managing complex cases, we encourage you to apply. We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Undertake risk and needs assessments to address the specific needs of the client in line with VS operating procedures
  2. Maintain accurate and confidential case records, complying with data protection and all other legislation connected to your work
  3. Provide information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate and understand the criminal justice process
  4. Develop and maintain effective working relationships and promote effective communication between staff and stakeholders
