This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned sales leader to drive growth and success with a reputable and expanding aviation company.

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Director to lead our sales team, focusing on product management, customer acquisition, and revenue growth across all regions.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets, experience in selling large contracts to businesses, and the ability to develop client-focused solutions. They will also have excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning and hitting annual sales targets within all regions
  • Accurately forecasting future sales pipelines
  • Developing and executing plans to achieve sales targets in all regions
  • Building sales plans, reports, and managing regional and centralised budgets
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Leading tender responses and overseeing the full sales process
  • Coaching and mentoring junior staff
  • Staying up-to-date with market trends, competitors, and leading customers
  • Presenting sales strategy and updates at monthly board meetings

About You:

  • Proven sales experience with a history of meeting targets
  • Experience in selling large contracts to businesses from RFP to final negotiations
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing differentiated solutions
  • Proven track record of success and leadership
  • Ability to communicate and present at all levels, including executive and C-level
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
