About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Cummins Inc. in a Data Centre role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and generating further business relationships across the Data Centre market in Europe.

Your key responsibilities

Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Collaborate with the engineering design, project management and global business development teams, determining the best value Cummins can offer to suit the requirements of the Data Centre customers.

Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.

Negotiate contracts and close sales deals, complying with relevant company and country guidelines and legislations.

Support the overall sales strategy through good communication and coordination across the sales organisation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Previous experience in a business development or sales role with commercial acumen.

Technical background is necessary with knowledge in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Adaptable approach with outstanding communication and teamwork skills, capable of working on complex projects.

Previous experience within the Data Centre sector is beneficial.

What we offer

We offer a competitive salary of £47,600 - £59,500 (depending on experience), a defined contribution pension scheme, annual bonus plan, private medical insurance, health cash plan, health screening, life assurance, 25 days annual leave plus public holidays, employee discount scheme, and family friendly policies.
