Cummins Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth in the European Data Centre market. As a key member of our Distribution Business Segment, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and building strong relationships with clients to deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, understanding client needs and providing value-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the best value Cummins can offer to Data Centre customers.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals, adhering to company and country guidelines.
  • Support the overall sales strategy through effective communication and coordination.
  • Mentor less experienced sales and account team staff.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in business development or sales with commercial acumen.
  • Previous experience in the European Data Centre sector is essential.
  • Technical background with experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Adaptable approach with outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong networking skills and ability to find and drive new business.
  • Experience with PowerGen or similar is highly desirable.
