Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Social Worker to join our Fostering Assessment Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering care services to children and young people, while maintaining effective relationships with families and professionals.

  • Assess and evaluate the needs of service users, developing and implementing tailored support plans.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver care programmes, promoting positive outcomes for all parties involved.
  • Engage with families and carers, providing them with information, guidance, and support throughout the assessment and planning process.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, documenting progress and achievements.
  • Provide expert testimony in court proceedings, presenting detailed assessments and recommendations.
Key Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a Social Work degree or equivalent qualification, be registered with Social Work England, and possess a deep understanding of UK legislation relevant to children and families.
