About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Counter Fraud Technical Specialist to join our Commercial Counter Fraud Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying and investigating insurance fraud, ensuring that all cases are handled in accordance with legislation and risk regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Counter Fraud benefits by identifying insurance fraud and undertaking investigations to validate or substantiate concerns.
- Demonstrate expertise in preventing and detecting insurance fraud, with the ability to manage potential outcomes.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and sign-off on key decisions and litigation, while providing feedback to the Team Leader with recommendations for handler development.
- Deputise for the Leadership Team and be accountable for the team's quality and performance by completing QA reviews, authorising payments and savings, and attending leadership meetings.
Requirements:
- Counter Fraud background and previous experience in claims handling (Property, Liability, and Motor) and/or policy fraud.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage workload efficiently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
