Counter Fraud Technical Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Counter Fraud Technical Specialist to join our Commercial Counter Fraud Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying and investigating insurance fraud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Counter Fraud benefit by identifying insurance fraud and undertaking investigations to validate or substantiate concerns.
- Demonstrate expertise in preventing and detecting insurance fraud, with the ability to manage potential outcomes.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and sign off on key decisions and litigation, whilst providing feedback to the Team Leader with recommendations for handler development.
- Represent DLG at relevant industry forums and steering committees, ensuring excellent internal stakeholder engagement, preparation, participation, and communication of content to the business.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in claims handling (Property, Liability, and Motor) and/or policy fraud.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex investigations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
