Sense is expanding its team and we're looking for a Children's Community Support Worker to join our Get Out There (GOT) Service. This service supports children and young people with their social programme of activities.

As a Community Support Worker, you will provide 1-1 support to a child who has Autism and Learning difficulties to access the community. You will support and take part in activities they enjoy, such as visiting parks and going swimming.

Your Duties Will Include:

  • Supporting individuals/groups within the centre and community
  • Providing a customized, responsive, and high-quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical, and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services
  • Delivering services that meet or exceed organizational expectations and standards

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • A full UK license and the ability to drive your own vehicle is essential
  • Experience of working with an individual who has Autism is desirable
