As a Children's Community Nursing Complex Care Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating, providing, and progressing our complex care services, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and provide complex care services to children and young people with palliative care needs
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our patients
  • Provide education and training to junior colleagues to support their development
  • Contribute to the development of our complex care services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

Person Specification

  • Registered Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse Child Branch
  • Minimum 2 years post-registration experience in community or complex care settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of palliative care principles and practices
