About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Key Account Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities through direct sales and upselling to existing customers.



Job Responsibilities



  • Selling service contracts to new and existing customers
  • Door-to-door canvassing and business-to-business sales
  • Upselling waste and recycling solutions to existing customers
  • Completion of client site risk assessments and site audits
  • Handling inbound enquiries and pre-qualifying opportunities
  • Monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities
  • Collating accurate prospect information and updating CRM
  • Participating in regional networking events and showcasing services
  • Attending sales meetings and booking appointments with target organisations
  • Cross-selling additional services, including shredding and hazardous waste management


Requirements


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • Previous experience in selling service contracts and door-to-door canvassing
  • Telemarketing and appointment booking skills
  • A full UK driving license
  • Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
