Job Summary

The Global Account Manager at Lenovo will serve as the trusted advisor for two large System Integrators (SIs), providing guidance on business innovation, transformation, and IT initiatives. This role involves developing and owning a multi-million revenue business, ensuring excellent customer experience, and fostering a positive book-to-bill sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global account plan, including key stakeholder matrices, target revenues, and opportunities for business growth.
  • Manage a team of regional sales managers and drive business development within assigned account scope, maximizing Lenovo's share of wallet.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities, promote and sell concepts, solutions, products, and services to the account, and influence clients to award additional business.
  • Conduct research, competitive analysis, and client presentations, preparing estimates and proposals, and leading negotiations.
  • Define and execute competitive bid and pricing strategies in cooperation with the account leadership team and relevant Lenovo stakeholders.
  • Work closely with product units, presales, and services architects/engineers to develop and build customized solutions, providing feedback on gaps in the portfolio.
  • Monitor the delivery process, collaborating with supply and services organizations to address issues affecting client satisfaction and Lenovo financial objectives.

Requirements

  • Exceptional sales track record and ability to build excellent business relationships with SIs on all levels.
  • 10+ years sales experience, ideally selling to SIs in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa or other Global Accounts.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure and SI industry trends, with the ability to position Lenovo solutions, products, and services successfully.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with high self-motivation and action orientation.
  • Ability to build and lead teams to achieve/exceed best-in-class outcomes/performance.
  • Experience in developing and executing customer account plans.
