Corporate Account Manager

The Role
Come and work with us at Sovos, a global provider of tax, compliance, and trust solutions, as a Corporate Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing existing clients and new clients to sell company products, including negotiating and closing long-term contracts. You will work closely with various departments throughout the company, with an emphasis on Sales, Legal, and Finance.
Your Responsibilities
- Prospect within assigned territory to create leads for new client sales by growing pipeline opportunities.
- Sell and promote SaaS solutions to new accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic opportunity plans that ensure quota attainment.
- Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders.
- Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external client satisfaction.
- Work with sales and marketing teams to share new ideas and new business development strategies.
- Leverage multiple communication methods.
- Skilled at time management and prioritization.
- Effective at territory planning and execution.
- Efficient at asking questions to understand needs and uncover opportunities.
- Acts as a role model and mentor across the organization, sharing best practices and messaging.
- Shows willingness to learn from other sales roles, internal business partners, and client experiences.
What We Need From You
- Ability to navigate and manage end-to-end sales cycles.
- 1-3 years' experience as BDR, quota-carrying Sales role, or similar; software solution sales preferred.
- Knowledge of contact management solutions, preferably.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Business travel may be required to attend client meetings and conferences.
- Interact effectively with teammates, colleagues, and customers.
- Comprehend and communicate complex concepts.
- Concentrate, analyze, and resolve complex problems.
- Utilize technology (phone systems, computer hardware, and software applications) to fulfill work requirements and effective communication.
- Makes their own opportunities for learning experiences.
- Learn from support for additional insight on how the solution works.
- Understand how the product works from the Support POV.
