We are collaborating with a reputable M&E contractor operating across the commercial, healthcare and life science sectors, delivering projects between £5m-£30m. They are seeking an experienced mechanical estimator to join their team based in Kings Cross.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to lead the mechanical estimating process for high-profile projects, focusing on healthcare, science labs, and technical builds. Responsibilities include preparing detailed cost estimates, including material take-offs, labour, and equipment pricing, as well as collaborating closely with the pre-construction team to deliver accurate and competitive bids.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the construction industry, preferably with a background in healthcare, laboratories, and other technical projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and negotiation abilities, are essential. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
