About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Director of Workforce Planning & Systems to join our client, a leading London-based NHS Trust.

This is a newly created role that requires expertise in strategic workforce planning, providing specialist advice and insight to the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new models of care and ensuring a supply of traditional and new roles to support the People Plan.

As a hybrid worker, you will spend a minimum of 2 days on site per week and must have experience of leading workforce planning in a complex organisation, ideally within the NHS.

The ideal candidate will also have experience in holding corporate responsibility for Workforce Systems and services at a Head of level or higher.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing strategic workforce plans to support the organisation's aims
  • Providing specialist advice and insight to senior leaders
  • Leading the development of new models of care and associated workforce requirements
  • Maintaining a flexible approach to working practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of leading workforce planning in a complex organisation
  • Experience of developing and implementing strategic workforce plans
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
What We Offer

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
