We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled VP, Business Development to join our team at Reinsurance Group of America. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing business development strategies, owning key client relationships, and leading the execution of reinsurance transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and other stakeholders
- Lead the execution of reinsurance transactions, including negotiation and structuring of deals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and structure solutions
- Gain market intelligence and insights to inform business development strategies
- Enhance RGA's reputation and brand in the market through thought leadership and industry engagement
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in insurance, reinsurance, or finance
- Proven ability to lead complex deals and negotiate with large clients
- Strong understanding of insurance accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements
