Pottersway House Care Home is seeking a skilled Head Chef to lead our culinary team.

As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving high-quality meals to our residents.

Our care home is part of the Care Concern Group, a family-owned care group with over 70 homes across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food quality and safety
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize resources
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to develop and implement menu plans and kitchen policies

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds 706 1 & 2, or equivalent qualification
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Previous management or supervisory experience in a kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
