About the Role

Pottersway House Care Home is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team.

As a leading provider of care services, we are committed to delivering high-quality food that meets the dietary needs of our residents.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare menus that cater to the diverse dietary needs of our residents
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that all food is prepared and served safely and efficiently
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize resources
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards
  • Collaborate with our care team to develop menus that meet the nutritional needs of our residents

Requirements

  • City & Guilds 706 1 & 2, or equivalent qualification
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Previous management or supervisory experience in a kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
