About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Chef Manager to join our team at Pertemps Network Catering. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Chef Manager in the day-to-day running of our catering operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Chef Manager in the planning, organization, and execution of catering events and services.
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs and catering staff to deliver exceptional food and service quality.
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the Chef Manager to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Contribute to the development of menus, recipes, and catering concepts that meet the needs of our clients.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Deputy Chef Manager or similar role in a contract catering company.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols, with the ability to implement and maintain effective systems.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work varied hours and cover holidays as required.
