Job Overview

In this role, you will be working with the largest Non-Emergency Patient Transport provider in the UK. As an Ambulance Care Assistant (ACA), you will play a vital part in helping patients receive the care they need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transporting patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities while showing compassion in times of vulnerability.
  • Assisting patients who may require assistance moving or being lifted, using equipment such as carry chairs or stretchers when necessary.
  • Ensuring safety and patient welfare at all times by providing reassurance and support when needed.
  • Liaising with our central control team to ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs of patients.
Requirements
  • A valid full UK manual driving licence is essential for this role.
  • You should be physically fit and able to lift and move patients safely.
  • Strong communication skills are crucial for building trust with patients and their families.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing situations is also required.

Estimated Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £30,855 per annum, paid on an hourly basis of £13.15/hour.
