Regional Finance Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Commercial Finance Manager to join our team at KBM RESOURCING LTD. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance function and providing financial reports to our directors.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring the day-to-day finance function runs smoothly.
- Provide financial reports to our directors, enabling them to make informed decisions about the future of the company.
- Develop and train the finance team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
- Assist with the preparation of files and month-end procedures to allow external accountants to prepare monthly management accounts.
- Assist with payroll and pensions, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Develop trends and projections for the company's finances, identifying areas for cost reduction and improvement.
- Manage HMRC (PAYE, VAT) and trade loans, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Prepare weekly cash flow reports, providing insights into the company's financial position.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations to identify cost-reduction opportunities and improve financial performance.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, bank managers, and legal advisors, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices and manage accounts payable.
- Manage accounts receivable and oversee the management of utilities and other contracts.
- Prepare and present reports and papers to the management team and board as required.
- Proven experience as a finance manager, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Ability to work independently, but also as part of a small team, with a strong commitment to delivering results.
- BS/MA degree in finance, accounting, or economics, with a professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar.
- Experience of Xero and sales force/CRM software, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
